I began my career as an Instructional Designer at CareerTrack, where I designed training from concept through implementation. In addition to creating instructor-led training, I created content for audio tapes, video tapes and written publications. I also facilitated train-the-trainer sessions and provided one-on-one coaching to trainers to maintain consistency and high standards of performance.
From there, I worked as a contract instructional designer developing ILT and e-learning training for clients including Frontline/SkillSoft, Chevron, National Seminars, and The Children’s Hospital of Denver.
Following that, I worked as the Senior Instructional Designer at TreeLine Training, Inc. where I was responsible for the development of the core-skills library, which consists of over 75 topics. Our clients at TreeLine included Chick-fil-A, City of Philadelphia, Comcast, Corporate Express, Devon Energy, Elward Construction, First Data Corporation, HRDQ, IBM, Intrado, IHS, Pep Boys, Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, Spectra Logic, US Oncology, USPS (New York City) and Xcel Energy.
Currently, I'm running my own company, developing innovative training solutions for today's business needs.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Michigan State University. I live in Louisville, CO with my husband and two boys, and enjoy the 300 days a year of sunshine I didn’t have growing up in Illinois.
